The EWB team is on their way to Lluttuyo, Peru, via Pasco, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Houston, Lima, Cusco and Chuquicahuana. As you can guess, it will take us a few days to reach our destination. We spent last night in Lima, Peru at the family home of Jennifer Saavedra Carter. Her uncle (tio) Wilfredo hosted us and provided us with a lovely breakfast of fruit and bread. Then we caught a flight to Cusco, Peru – gateway to the famous Inca ruins at Machu Picchu. Tomorrow we take one more step toward our destination with a drive to the ADRA training center in the community of Chuquicahuana. Below are a few pictures from our trip. The first is a group photo with Tio Will in Lima. The second offers a glimpse of the beauty found in Cusco.
